Novel Studies

During our Literacy sessions until the end of term we will be doing novel studies. The 5 books that we will read and study are:

  1. Boy Overboard by Morris Gleitzman
  2. Bone Tiki By David Hair
  3. Bridge to Terebithia by Katherine Patterson
  4. Two weeks with Queen by Morris Gleitzman
  5. Goodnight Mister Tom by Michelle Magorian
During our studies we will work in literacy circles to share and discuss the book each week we will prepare some of ideas based on a literacy circle book mark to share in our novel groups.

As a class we are also reading and discussing Skellig by David Almond. Every week we will complete an activity based on the book and spend some time sharing our ideas with the whole class.
